The short version: Nitya collects nothing. The app has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you do in the app stays on your phone.
To remember your practice, Nitya saves a small amount of information on your device only:
This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it. It may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
When "Count on volume keys" is on, Nitya listens for volume key presses while the app is open or the screen is locked, so you can count with the phone face down. It only notices that a key was pressed; it records nothing else and releases the keys when you switch to another app.
Deleting the app from your phone deletes everything it stored. Inside the app, you can also reset the current round or remove mantras you added.
Nitya is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
